fit bit review day one!!!

i was plannnning to wait a week to review the fit bit haha...but i couldnt wait!!!

i love it!!!!

i totally feel like having it has inspired me to squeeze extra activity into my day. i havent done a full workout with the fitbit on yet (just did a bunch of jumping jacks/butt kicks/squats today), but i am so curious to see how many calories i burn what i do the 30 day shred or p90x! (i am exhausted after a 10 hr work myself the night off!!!).

i like that it tells you how many calories to eat based on activity -- however, it is suggesting a lot more calories than i usually eat (and i barely even worked out today...) so i am nervous to use the suggestion...

my goal for my first day was 10 flights of stairs and 10,000 steps -- currently at 21 flights of stairs and 10,521 steps so i hit both of my targets! i am definitely planning to burn more calories tomorrow when i have more energy.

im going to try the sleep function tonight, but i cant figure out how to set the alarm -- anyone know??

oh, also -- vanity issue haha -- any ladies know how to wear this without having it look like you have a weird third boob??

long story short, i love it so far! cant wait to see if this helps with my weight loss. also, props to sparkpeople for setting it up to sync automatically, AWESOME feature!!!

and a picture of my dinner to end the blog :) 1 serving of grilled tilapia, lots and lots of spring mix lettuce, 1/8 cup of corn, 1/4 cup of kidney beans, 2 tbsp of bolthouse yogurt dressing...yummmmm

    I have the fitbit one and don't like it at all. Let me know if it shows you stepping up to 3500 between midnight and the time you wake up each morning, if you aren't wearing it to bed. it does that to me. then resets itself during the day to show i haven't taken any steps. i don't like it and won't buy another one.

    It sounds really good! And that dinner looks yummy!! I don't know if I would follow the calorie suggestions. All of us are different and some of us don't need as any calories as things like that suggest. I have hypothyroidism and cysts on my ovaries or PICOS so I can't eat as many calories as even Spark suggests and lose weight consistently. I have to eat around 1200 to 1400 a day if I go over that even with exercising a ton, I don't lose weight. Just do what works for you. Now, if you've been hungry all the time, you might need to eat more but I would just eat according to what works for your body. Oh and the sleep thing sounds interesting. Didn't know about that feature.

    I just got a FB this weekend and LOVE it too... how I set the alarm was I used the app on my phone, under more on the right hand side there is silent alarm.. you hit that and program the time to wake you.

I wear it between my boobs too and I have no clue how to wear it better... I have put the in between so all that is on the outside is the clip (if that makes scene)
