And now my daughter is blaming me for her dog peeing on the floor and I will be the reason for him having to leave!!! Excuse me???

    Your daughter has to know better!

If she was home & hadn't taken the dog out to relieve himself, then there should be consequences.

However, it the dog felt forced to relieve himself indoors, because no one was home to take, or to let, him out, then that is a whole other story. If that was the case & your daughter was quick to clean up after him once she arrived home, then maybe another chance is in order?

Of course, I have no advice in the case of your being the first to arrive home & faced with the mess.
