Time to Hit the Reset Button

It's time to reset my approach to my two year journey here at SparkPeople. What do I mean?

R = Rebuild. It's time to rebuild what I'm doing. Save the good stuff and toss away the parts that don't work.

E = Energize. By changing things up again I plan on getting some of my old energy going. Remember when you first started at SP? Remember how excited you were when your efforts were bringing positive results? I remember and that's where I want to be again.

S = Simplify. Sometimes when I'm trying to reset something I make it more complicated than needed. I'm going to simplify this time. Go back to the basics. Food intake + exercise. Pay attention and set new goals.

E = Exercise. It's time to boost my exercise. I've been talking about this for awhile. I need to move more to help with my food intake. I'd rather move more than cut my food much more.

T = Truth. It's time I was more truthful, more careful with myself. Track my food truthfully. Round up, not down. Don't track by memory so much. My body knows the truth. Why try to fool myself? Crazy, right?

It's time to RESET and I'm moving that way. Anyone else out there who needs to reset? Let's do this together emoticon
