I had wondered the same thing about my birth control pills hindering weight loss. I read that people gained weight, but it was because it affected appetite and people ate more. That's what they say at least LOL. I know the IUD is different, but I will tell you when I really started working hard again the weight started coming off. So I guess I blamed my pills for nothing. Hopefully it's not hindering your progress, and I hope that the scale starts cooperating soon. At least you are aware of it and that it could be causing an issue, so you can keep an eye on it. But I hope it doesn't come to that and that you are able to button your pants soon! emoticon

Hang in there and try not to get discouraged. Give it some time. You just started. I'm proud of you for biking just like I knew you would. As far as the IUD is concerned, maybe you should discuss it with your doctor.

    Yay Sarah!

Just keep trying! You said it your self right! I know its not easy but doing all the positive things for your self has to have a pay off. Ask your doctor is the best advise I can think of on the B.C. I truly hope you will stick to it and see results soon emoticon
