Didn't crawl out for morning exercise, but...

Well it came down to the ability to sleep a little more or to haul butt out of bed this morning... I even went to bed early, slept in shorts & top, etc to make the latter more likely... but I think I really needed that extra sleep last night. My FitBit says I slept nearly 8.5 hours, which is about an hour more than I normally do. I also have an 80+ minute TM workout scheduled for tonight.
I also feel super-energized today.
I also had to quick scrabble a lunch together on my way out the door... and what a happy thing that was. I grabbed a small potato, a pat of butter, some light sour cream, a tomato, a green pepper and some cheese sticks... along with fruit and carrots. So I had a baked potato, with a salad (already have lettuce & dressing here at work) for lunch:
Also had good news on the scale this morning, I was down to 152.4. I guess the extra pound was most likely water weight, but that doesn't make it any more welcome. I stayed well in calories yesterday and will be there today too. I have already blown away my fruit and veggies for today, so my carrots and oranges for snacks are already just gravy! (TASTY gravy).
I have been watching the weather forecast nervously for the 25th of May, the Go Girl Run. Temp forecasts have been anywhere from 64-78 with a constant chance of wet. Today we are at 68. That's not bad, but with my track record for cold runs this year, I am expecting a sudden blast from the Arctic bringing northerly winds and a high of 30 plus a blizzard... hopefully by saying it, it will ward off such evile.
