So I'm in this class at the YMCA, named above. Last night we had a briefing by a dietician. OH, I'd heard it all before but hey, if it works. She pretty much described the Sonoma or Mediterranean diet. Eat more protein, fruits and veggies. So today is day one all over again.
Oh, and she also says, track your food. DUH! I hate doing that but there are only 6 more weeks of this and so I can do this. And exercise and more exercise. Yes, I can.

    Of course you can :-) And try rephrasing even your mental thoughts about tracking...try not to think how much you hate doing it and tell yourself this is a healthy step, this will really help me on this journey...etc.

    Tracking food for me has really made a difference. It also helps to measure and weigh things. I was reading that someone doing maintenance should even keep tracking their food. It is never easy but the results are worth it. Sounds like a great class.
