Yesterday was a no-time-for-the-gym day, but it was also a strength-training day. So I did my strength training in the comfort of my own home.
My equipment consisted of 10-pound dumbbells, a swiss ball, a chair, a staircase, and an old yoga mat. I put together a one-hour routine combining these with body-weight exercises, and I finished with a sense of accomplishment.
Was it perfect? Heck no!
Was it better than throwing up my hands and quitting? Heck yeah!
And I kept to my calorie range & got enough protein, which is a challenge in itself.
Overall, I'm calling it a WIN!
