Shred week 1, day 2

Meal 1: oatmeal, whole wheat toast, coffee, cranberry juice
I had meal one at 9 instead of 8:30 but at least today I didn't miss it by as much. Added 1 tsp of sugar to my oatmeal and 1 pat of butter to my toast...wouldn't be bearable otherwise. Used Splenda in my coffee but used flavored creamer. Limited myself to the recommended one cup.

Forgot my fruit though.

I was on the road today so I packed up my snacks and lunch and avoided the drive-through temptation. Yay me!

Snack 1: 1/2 cucumber and 2 tbsp of hummus plus a Spark energy drink

Meal 2: turkey sandwich on wheat with mustard, lettuce and tomato plus carrots and a diet dr pepper

Snack 2: banana

Ahhh back home and off track...with a half of a blueberry muffin, some chips, and a piece of bacon

But a made it to the gym for 45 minutes (15 each on bike, treadmill and elliptical) and I tried one of the smoothie recipes for dinner.

  You're doing a great job as it's a life style change! Enjoy it as the weight comes off and you become healthier. You'l wonder why it took you so long! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
