how'd I do that? I am sure I posted everything I ate and I ate well, but I am way short on calories and many nutrients... so I'm having a whole wheat toast with PB&J... that'll bring me up there.. should make up a glass of milk, that would probably meet a lot of the missing nutrients too... where do you get potassium? I didn't notice they were tracking that before... 4500+ per day and a banana only has about 350...

And also I notice that my legs are NOT hurting today.. yet it is raining like crazy. So, it has to be either the bed or the lazy boy. Since I moved into this house, just over a month ago, my legs have been hurting...really hurting... my front thigh muscle... First I thought it was climbing stairs which I hadn't done for awhile. but then I thought about the bed, which is a high sleigh bed... was I maybe using muscles I didn't usually use, and it wasn't he stairs cuz some days I don't even go up them. Or the lazy boy, big deal when they're new, so I've had the foot rest up all the time. Today, I only had it up a few times, and in the meantime, crocheting, I stretched my legs on the couch...??? I had 3 little walks, so don't think that could have been it... so gonna continue with this detective work and figure this out...

Potatoes - especially with the skins add extra potassium. OJ and therefore, probably also oranges, some veggies, as well as bananas are some ideas that come to mind off the top of my head. Try adding various items and checking out the nutrients before you decide to eat them.

I think the trick is to add things to your meals that add calories but doesn't bulk it up or make it feel like you're eating more (if you're not hungry). So maybe add some olive oil to your salad, or a spoonful of nut butter during the day. It's so hard to find that balance of eating to satisfy your hunger signals, but not eating too little that you put yourself into starvation mode! Good luck, I still struggle with it at times too.

Glad your legs are feeling better. Elevating them does help with circulation.
Have a great day!
