walk with weights

Whew! I just finished a 2 mile walk with 5 pound weights, and did some strength training besides. I am sweaty and definitely got my heart rate up. Meal plan was fine too.

This was the first time I used weights while walking. My plan is to work my way up to a longer walk as soon as carrying them for 2 miles. I am pretty sure I am going to be a bit sore tomorrow, but no pain no gain, as they say.

    I've been thinking of doing this too. Thought of doing curls, lifts, and whatever to double dip my time on the treadmill. Please post how it turns out.
