Exciting walk this afternoon...

I was walking down the sidewalk when I heard a loud "crack", and a crashing sound. Turned out part of a tree fell on a garbage truck! Wow, didn't expect to see that. Definitely got my heart rate up. Other than that it was a nice, normal Tuesday. Walked with the two dogs and three pre teens this morning (6 miles), then the afternoon walk (4 miles), followed by our third walk of the day (2.1 miles) and 20 minutes of a yogilates video. That is enough. I was so tired again today. I never take naps (didn't even as a child), but I took another one today. Not 2 hours like yesterday, but still...

I am not feeling very motivated these days. Beyond my walks with the dog and a little ST at home, I just have no gumption. I have goals and deadlines but no real desire to work towards them. I figure this is just a slump. I seem to go through this every few months. The last time I felt this unmotivated was before Christmas. I don't like feeling so unfocused, but there it is. I have to deal with what is.

    Worn out here too. Suddenly got hot now and went from on extreme to another temperature wise.

    The slump will pass and then your body will be ready for bigger things once again. At least you are not sitting on the couch waiting for the motivation to come. All the best.

    Falling tree limbs are very scary. My father was seriously injured and was almost killed when a 30 lb tree limb fell and hit him in the head. Luckily it was just a truck and not a person that was hit. I'm sure it was rather startling though.

    When I feel unmotivated, I try to simplify. I just set one or two goals and just stick to them, otherwise I begin to feel overwhelmed and its easier to put things off. Hopefully things will improve for you soon.

    You'll get through this. And being that you are napping you might just be exhausted or coming down with something.

    Take care of yourself and you'll be back to your old self in no time.

    Could you maybe make a goal for yourself that is meaningful? Not necessarily weight loss but something to strive towards that you need to be in better shape for. Like a 5k race or a marathon or some kind of intense hiking trip!

    Just a thought :)

    It would make your exercise sort of productive as in it would be training to meet your goal :)
