Yesterday I had a appointment with a dermatologist for a couple of spots of dry skin that wouldn't go away. One he froze off, then other he took a sample of and scrapped it out. Will find out in week about that. The other thing is he said That the red blotches on my forehead is rosacea. Said he could take care of it with a couple of lazer treatments. He also said that if it doesn't bother me than not to worry about it. I really don't like having the red blotches but don't want to have the lazer treatment either. Has anyone used a natural rosacea treatment that has worked or any ideas. Haven't researched it much yet, just thought I'd see how others have dealt with it.

I have rosacea. I went to the Cleveland clinic about 10 years ago and some shyster actually showed me a pic of a WC field lookalike and told me that the rosacea would look like that if I didn't treat it (and recommended a $3k laser treatment series).

I have done nothing medical but take an over the counter supplement that has been shown to reduce inflammation and skin cancer by turning on the body's NRF2 gene. I also wear sunscreen more religiously and reduce playing the water from 12-2.

Maybe one day Ill do the treatments but I am enjoying life without them. I have a blonde cousin with stage 4 skin cancer who carries the protein profile ( I did not get genetic counseling because the profile is maternally carried and we are paternally related).

You def want to consider lifestyle changes . They are free!

Nothing for rosacea, But DH has had the freezing for pre cancer spots a number of times. It was worth while to improve his health.
