New Goal for me...

Since completing the 5K this weekend (notice I said Completing) my new goal is to complete one running/jogging the whole thing. I was very proud of myself for stepping out of my comfort zone and signing up for the race and actually going through with it. I did good and jogged MOST of it, but now I want to say I did one by jogging/running the whole time without stopping. There are a couple 5Ks later this year (aug/Sep) that would be a good goal for me to strive and be able to make it through those with some more training and practice.

So this morning, instead of my normal, mile and half/two mile run that I do, I did another whole 5K! So proud of myself. I even beat my time from this weekend! I know goals should be realistic and trackable, so the first one I am setting for myself is to be able to do a 5K in 36 minutes (I did it in 39:42 today). i think this should be an attainable goal by the first 5K in August. emoticon

    Congratulations on beating you time!

Great goal of being able to run/jog the entire 5K. I'm hoping to get there one day too.

Making challenges for ourselves and achieving new fitness levels will help keep us healthy and make the journey more rewarding!
