I was exploring Spark today looking at teams that do challenges. I already belong to several but I found the 1 day challenge team. I had forgotten all about it. I belonged to it a long time ago but left for some reason I can't remember. Well, while I was looking at the team the challenge today was to listen to Spark radio. What??? I see the Spark radio on my sparkpoints page but I didn't think I could listen to it. Duh!!! I checked it out today and after dealing with some "buffering" I managed to listen to a segment entitled Find Your Inner "Normal Eater" It was quite educational. It talked about the hunger scale. Again, something I had heard about but never gave much thought to. After listening to it I used the Spark search to find out more about the hunger scale and was able to get all the levels defined. I copied and pasted it to a word document (and increased the font!) and printed it out for my daily use. I think it might help me to look at it when I am wanting to eat for no particular reason. It will help me to identify if I am really hungry or as the radio discussion said, "Feeding my mind." I do that a lot.
