Facing the music... and crawling out of bed...

I didn't manage my "just 20 minutes" on the TM this morning. I think several night short of sleep caught up to me. It doesn't mean that I won't get my steps and workout in, I will just have to get to them later. I DO like the boost of a short bit of morning movement, even if just a walk.... but I have gotten into the habit of taking a nap after work and then getting up and staying up later than I would otherwise.

I also gritted my teeth and stepped on the scale this morning for the first time in several weeks and I'm UP 2.3# to 153.4.

So strapping back in like I did in March. I can get it back down, I am just frustrated because it's gone back up. My exercise has been on track but my food tracking has been lackadaisical. So I am buckled in, my seat back is in its upright position and my tray table is secured and locked. I will also keep my limbs inside the car and out of the frig!

    Yes! Limbs inside the car and OUT OF THE FRIDGE! (It is sooo easy to gain!)

    And, sometimes, no matter what you do and what you eat, your weight is going to vary...don't beat yourself up about it...just do as you're doing. Keep on keeping on, I like to say.

Also, unless you have a scale with it's own set of weights, like in a doctor's office, don't always expect it to be super-right!!

I'm not trying to sell you on my method of weighing in, but I've given up on home scales and since I see my primary doctor every 3 months, I just get on his scale and know for sure. Also, my best method of control is how my clothes fit!! AND, my shoes tell me a lot!!

Whatever your do, just relax and do your workouts, eat your meals and take good care of you!! emoticon
