So Friday night was my daughter's spring fair at her school
We both had lots of fun! They had a BBQ and hot dogs and stuff. I had one hot dog and a side chickpea salad instead of the chips! YAY! There was lots of activities, my daughter had the nerve to put her principal in the "mock jail!" haha and the principal put her in it in return! It was pretty funny! They had bouncy castle, sucker pull, fish game, used book sale, the mock jail, lots of fun! We got home and both went to bed!
Saturday morning me and my daughter took Buster to the park. Look at those cuties!
We walked around, let him play with some dogs and went home. Took her to dance, hung out for the afternoon. She went to her dads saturday night and me and my boyfriend made yummy haddock and rice and veggies for supper. We had a beer and watched skyfall :) It was a great night!
Sunday he made me breakfast for mother's day, then I had my mother over and made her shrimp pasta dish and got her flowers :) My daughter made me a nice card too :) Such a sweetie!
Sunday evening we had obedience class for Buster. It was his last one and he passed!!
Monday morning I slept in :( I honestly shouldn't have. I'm starting to learn the difference between sleeping in because I need the sleep or sleeping in because I'm being lazy. Yesterday I was being lazy! I should have gotten up for our first day of pooch to 5K! Anyways there isn't anything I can do about yesterady today. So we started today instead!
The first day is walk 4 minutes, jog 1 minute, repeat 4 times. It was really great. Nice and easy to start out, ease both of us into it! He did great, I need to work on his leash manners a bit more but overall he did really well :)
We did 3.29KM in only 45 minutes!! I had more time to get ready since we did some jogging which was great! I kept Buster leashed while we were running and let him have some off leash time when we were done :) Just in case I ever want to take him on the road he'll be trained to run on leash
I had quinoa and peanut butter and banana for breakfast this morning! YUM!!
I packed some pineapple and strawberries for snack
and this wonderful quinoa, salmon and veggies for lunch
Feeling great today!! So happy to be back at a jogging program and in no time we will be jogging 5K!! Can't wait!
