A run tonight

Went for my 30 minute run tonight. Middle child was playing a baseball game right near a local trail so I watched for a bit, went running out and back 15 minutes each way and did a 5 minute walk to warm up and cool down. Now I'm back on schedule with my original Half-Marathon training. I thought about waiting another night but I decided against it.

    There's nothing like a big race on the horizon to motivate a runner to get out there and go. If your half marathon training is anything like my training it'll be a lot of work, but again, if it's anything like my training it'll be completely worth it. emoticon

    Good luck with your training. I have completed 5 half marathons so far. I remember my first one - i was so proud afterwards. I thought it was quite hard. Few years on and it feels easy. emoticon
