Overate and Underexercised

Today I went over my calories by 200 and under my exercise by 15 minutes. And tomorrow morning will be start over with Day 1 again.

Gosh, I actually don't feel so bad. I counted all my calories and overindulged slightly. Then tonight when I usually would get out and walk, the weather has not been cooperative. But I haven't taken a day of rest for the last 12 days, so today will be a rest day. '

I am actually practicing how to not just give up when I have a day of overindulgence. And I am practicing to allow myself to have something like a piece of cake and not feel like I have given up. This is a huge babystep for me to eat in moderation - I have been in this place before and succeeded, and I will succeed this time too.

    You don't have to start over tomorrow. Just do as well as you can, the rest of the day and press on. We CAN get over this perfectionist thing where nothing is ever good enough.

    You can do this! 200 calories is nothing. When I overeat its by like 1500... so run up some stairs, walk for 15 minutes and that's gone lady!

    Whenever I had a day like that, I just swept it away. I would tell myself- I'm extra rested and have extra calorie energy, now I can work out even harder tomorrow. Good Luck. emoticon emoticon
