Jillian Michael's Day 3

Breakfast: banana
Lunch: turkey bacon and egg white sandwich from Starbucks and a tall nonfat, green tea frappacino w/o syrup and w/o whipped cream
Snack: Island Green smoothie from Tropical Smoothie Cafe
Dinner: salad, hamburger with bun, lettuce, ketchup and cucumber and a turkey dog, no bun
Dessert: 1 cup microwave popcorn and 130 calorie skinny cow chocolate

When I woke up this morning, I impatiently waited for the temperature to rise some so I could go for a run. Once it finally did, I ran 3 miles, the last one a little slow due to some tightness. After my run, I got ready and went to meet Aimee for lunch and then went to work a couple hours at a local bridal shop. After work I went to the chiropractor to get a quick adjustment before tonight's softball games, hung out with Aimee for a half hour and then went to softball. My first at bat, I hit the ball and with my first step towards first base, I pulled my quad. :( I couldn't even make it to 1st base before I had to hop off to the side. So, coach took me out until I told him I was good. After icing and stretching, I got it loose enough to go up for my next at bat, thankfully we had enough players to cover me in outfield. Although I only made it on base once tonight, I take it as a major accomplishment considering I couldn't really run...and then I took a runner. Lol When I got home, I said I needed to ice my leg and my mom suggested a hot shower and then ice...instead I made dinner, did Day 3 of the 30 Day Shred, slightly painful but I did it, and then took a shower. I probably should be icing it right now while I'm typing this, but I'm a bit too tired to go to the kitchen to get some ice...and I'm ready to go to bed anyways. So, hopefully it will feel a little bit better tomorrow and I won't have to ice it too much. Overall today was a great day though! I ran 3 miles, played 2:30 softball and got my butt kicked by Jillian Michael's for 20 minutes! :)
