Protesting school board decision to eliminate German program

Monday, May 13, 2013

I'm very nervous about tonight. I'm going to speak at a school board meeting to protest the boards decision to eliminate the German program and the teacher from next years electives. I want this decision reversed very badly or I wouldn't even consider public speaking. The closer it gets to speech time the more nervous I get. Pray that I will do a good job representing my protest against this decision.

I can imagine how you felt. I used to be very scared of speaking in public, and felt really nervous when I had to.
Please, let me know how it went!

I'm wondering how it went, especially since I am now learning German since my son is marrying a German woman.

I hope all went well. Our high school used to have a French program, now we only have Spanish. Of course, in this area there is a much larger need for Spanish speakers than French. emoticon

I am nervous with public speaking all the time. Plan, take a deep breath and talk slow. Look them all straight in the eye and they cannot help but listen well to you. You will be fantastic! This emoticon rather than emoticon !
