week 3

Weigh in today. Down 3lbs, with the 1 I put on last week, that makes 6 total. Really pleased with that.

I decided to get a tub of whey powder yesterday. I looked at all of the bars and they were all at least 200 calls. Far too much for an afternoon snack. The powder was half price so I decided to give it a go, 120 calls and 25g of protein. Had my first glass this afternoon. It was ok, but had artificial sweetner aftertaste. I'm going to keep on with it as its really helped me keep the protein up, but I'll have a look around to see what else there is.

I got another task handed over to me today. They were looking at me doing it in a couple of weeks, but I'm all up to date with what they had already given me, so they decided to do it early. I think that they're pleased with how I've just knuckled down and got on with it all.

I got some anti inflammatory tablets, especially for arthritis, from the Dr on Friday. Once they kicked in properly on Sunday evening I felt so much better. Doesn't take the pain away completely, but it's at least bearable. Even managed to wash my hair this evening, could get my arms above shoulder height. I'm thinking of doing a short amount of time on the treadmill a few times a week now that pain levels are more under control.
