I feel like I'm getting closer to my goal of being able to run a mile. Right now I'm just walking, jogging, and sprinting in turn to work my way up to an actual run. I'm too heavy to actually run right now and I don't want to injure myself, which is the reason I've quit exercising before. I just need to break my body down to build it up, and that will mean taking it slow but pushing harder every day.

Today my muscles were aching and I wanted to just crash in bed and stay there, but I forced myself up and out of bed. I stretched on my yoga mat and got on the treadmill, I power walked for 30 minutes, and then I did some strength training with my 5lb dumb bells. I feel great about myself and I now know I have no choice but to keep going. I'm off to do homework now.
