Good morning Sparkers - I'm officially 45 days away from my anniversary of exercising. I've made it one full week of logging in my food and have stayed under my calories each time!!!!
I changed my challenge from working out everyday until my anniversary date, to taking Sundays off as a day of rest. IF I should feel the urge to workout on Sunday it's a bonus. I've created a board at home that has 45 sticky's so I can peel them off as the days pass by. I've divided my board into - Worked out and Did not workout. I'm praying I have more days on the workout side than the non-workout saide.
I'm trying to convince myself to stay away from the scale for those 45 days and just take my measurements today and at the end of the 45 days. Reason being I'm planning to strength train a lot more and I know that can wreak havoc on the weigh-ins. Now what shall I do with my scale? mmmmmm
So I'm ready to face my week. I made myself the most delicious meal yesterday. Baked talapia, mashed sweet potatos and broccolli what a great combination. After eating this meal I was like I think I'm capable of making this a few times a week changing up my side dishes. I love talapia and salmon which is what i really wanted but remembered that I had fish in the freezer waiting to be cooked. I'll probably get my salmon before the week ends. I'm really looking forward to staying focused and getting my water, exercise and good calories in.
I'm going to the gym today and hopefully will tackle both the elliptical and the treadmill and strength train when I get home. I'm also incorporating my bathroom exercises again. Squats and wall push-ups when I go tinkle. I started it this weekend and got in a lot of squats and walking lunges. Believe it or not we're expecting temperature drops into the upper 60's lower 70's in Miami in May!!! Oh God what shall we do. But I'm also looking forward to my outdoor walks this week, hopefully if the rain stays away. But it's suppose to rain today so.... I didn't get up this morning as I had difficulty getting to sleep last night. Didn't go until well after 1a.m. Try again tomorrow.
