Hope all you moms and dads who play dual roles had a great day yesterday. I had a pretty good day. My daughter made breakfast- she tried to make something in line with what I typically eat now except that she forgot that I don't really like cheese on my eggs but all in all she did a great job. My nephew who I wrote about last week some time is so weird, he called me to say that he wanted to know if I needed anything for my office because he wants to go Staples to buy me a gift. Ok, so credit for coming up someplace practical but hilarious because he never does anything practical and I'm not sure why he fixated on Staples. He never goes and generally has no reason to. After I assured him that I didn't need any office supplies and apparently wrecked his plan, he decided to buy flowers and a card, mow the lawn and weed whack the edges.
I ate at the top of my range because I cooked some delicious pork shoulder (picnic roast or pork butt), it is delish but cripes 280 calories for 4 oz! Ate that with boiled green bananas and steamed cabbage and broccoli. I also had a scoop of ice cream. I had no fitness minutes. I also cooked some chicken stew for dinner this week as I just can't afford the calories for any more of that pork.
