The weekends go by so fast! Here it is Monday again. I wasn't very good about tracking last week..I must say I do get tired of it after a while. I can remember when I started out here I loved tracking and looking at my reports to see where I was with my goals. I also have a spreadsheet to track my weight and inches lost. Those tools are very motivating for me because I can see my results in graphic format. To me, inches lost are just as important as weight loss. I may lose inches but not weight on any given week. It really WORKS! Today I'm back to tracking. I think I just needed a little break. It doesn't mean I didn't focus on my program. I just didn't track every day.
Yesterday we had a nice dinner for our mothers (me and my husband). We grilled some steaks, had roasted potatoes, corn, crunchy cabbage salad and cake for dessert (it was also my mother in law's birthday on Saturday). I also had fresh strawberries for dessert which my to "moms" used to top the cake with..lol. I feel blessed that they are both alive and doing fairly well.
After dinner, my husband and I went over to our church garden to see if anything was coming up and cover it if there was since we were on a frost alert. Not much was coming up yet (fortunately) so we were able to cover the few things that were sprouting. It will have to get done again tonight, but then after that the temps will be warming up again! We ended the evening with a play date for our greyhounds with two other greyhounds and wine for the people! Ahhh..what a perfect day!
My goal this week is to til my own garden and get it ready for planting.
