I need to get things rolling again! Summer is here and classes are over!

I'm heading to Cali tomorrow for an interview on Tuesday so that I can volunteer and get some *more* clinical experience. I'm excited for it and I hope it works out!

Also, this semester I've been a research assistant and after just a few months I got offered to be the lab manager! It is such a blessing and an honor. I will be training others and running the lab :)

I've also had the experience of presenting research (poster) at a public health conference which was very rewarding.

Combined with other activities, overall I feel good about my future in pursuing medicine.

HOWEVER, I need to work on myself. I'm a huge procrastinator, but in order to lose a decent amount of weight before med school, I need to be on my game. SO, this summer (even though I will be staying with family), I am going to do my best to stick to a regular exercise schedule. I know my diet out there will be just fine, but I am hoping to hit the gym/jog outside while I'm there. If it doesn't work out, I'll just do the same thing in my neighborhood!
