Today is Mothers Day 10/12/13 Sunday and it was the BESTEST Mothers day ever.

emoticonBecause I started my new Low Carb Living Journey today, yeh!!!!!
emoticonBecause my son brought me what I desired: a queen size air mattress for my tent and an air pump to blow it up.
emoticonBecause I have 2 brand new watches for Mothers day
emoticonBecause I took a long nap in my tent on my air mattress and it was absolutely and positively wonderfullllllllllllllllllllll
lly relaxing.. wow!

emoticonA day in heaven emoticon

My meals are eaten with a plastic baby spoon for the illusion eating more food.
My entire meal is put in a large 24 oz. cup for portion control.

Reason: If I used a regular tablesppon to eat, it would have been gone in a few gulps. This way I am FORCED to use portion control on this tiny bit of food (imho) and when I go for 2 spoonfull of food... it feelssssssssssssssss like a lot of food but in fact, I am only consumming a baby size spoonful.

Protein Shakes:
I really like protein shakes because there is NO cooking involved, no stove, no microwave, just add 8oz of water and shake and drink... done! and it sustains me until lunch time :) now mind you, I had to work UP to liking shakes but I did it because I know what the end result can be.

Diabetic Foot Preventive Care:
My feet are fine, other than swelling of feet and ankles and lower chin
Flaking, dry, cracked skin by the ankles and chins
Today in the shower I scrubbed them and afterwards put A & D ointment on them to heal the skin.

Hair Care:
Dyed my roots a soft black as the gray was showing
Cut my hair ends

Internal Cleansing:
Took one dose of Milk of Magnesia @ 4am to clean me out from prior junk food consumption from yesterday... which is my binge so to speak before I seriously started my low-carb delicious living today ... seriously.

Meds: None today

No Exercise today.
