I know that this is late blog for the eight week update. The 6 goals that I sought out to complete, I am happy to say that I have completed them during this eight week journey. Here is the recap of that list:
*Lose 10 or more pounds - I have lost 15 pounds overall. I have lost a total of 19.5lbs in the last 4 months.
*Be able to be off of my diabetic medication - In my fifth month, my doctor took me off my diabetic medication
*Meet people who are just as passionate as I am about losing weight - I have met several awesome woman during this journey and they have been great motivators.
*Losing 4 or more inches off of my waist - I have lost 11.5 inches overall
*Losing at least one dress size - I have gone down one size.
*Meeting new people - I have met some great people and it is great that they share the same ideals as me.
This challenge has given me great self esteem and self confidence. I also have high energy and I feel that I am focused on my health and weight loss goals.
