This blog won't be a 90%-asleep, so garbled you can't read it blog like I tried to write last time. Just an update with a few thoughts.

My food was a mess this week. I should have planned better, especially since that was one of the challenges for BLC. BUT, I got back to the gym and had a really solid training session for the first time since late August. So, I'm pleased with that. I'm also pleased that even though I was pretty sure the number on the scale was not going to be in the direction I wanted, that I went to my WW meeting anyway. There was a time not that long ago that I would've blew it off so I wouldn't have to admit it. Plus, the workout was 16 hours before the weigh-in, so I could have had some swelling/etc going on. This week I'll do better.

Today was a bit of a rough day, but I was expecting that. It was our first Mother's Day without Mom. Dad and I went to church and went out to the cematery, and showed my sister that the flowers she sent the other day were still there (she lives out of state). Mom's family came over for a BBQ. Stupid Michigan, though -- on Wednesday and Thursday, it was 80 degrees and sunny, so Grandma decreed that she wanted hot dogs, brats and burgers. Today, it was 40 degrees, and I saw snow. My aunt said that the radio people added that by THIS Wednesday, we're supposed to be back to the 80 degrees and sunny. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....off to burrow in the blankets cuz I'm COLD!!!!
