HOW my co-worker lost 77 lbs in 8 mo. with NO exercise

Sunday, May 12, 2013

emoticon I am not promoting anything, I am just sharing a journey of my friends journey and mines.... so pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee consult your medical professional before attempting any new way of eating or living... please.

emoticon This is about how my coworker and friend lost 77 lbs in literally 8 months and looks INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!! as of 05/14/13. Now mind you, she joined some kind of high protein program where you buy protein shakes in an envelope, 1 serving per envelope. To join this program is around $234. then there is the monthly costs to pick up supplies which run about $194 per month, EVERY month
emoticon You know how inside you find this out and you are thinking: have ya lost your mind? girl please!

emoticon The company has her convince to THIS VERY DAY that THEIR protein shakes help maintain muscle.
New Flash = Exercise also helps maintain muscle. emoticon

I am NOT paying that ridiculous amount of money for protein shakes when I can go to WALMART and buy a HUGEEEEEEEEEEEEEE protein shake powder for $15.98 or a different brand for $19.98 and the difference is that one brand has 30 grams of protein per scoop and the other has 25 grams of protein. (1 scoop per serving btw)

NOTE: To each his or her own... you do you and I will do me with the more affordable version at WALMART emoticon

I will not name the company that she buys from (they have offices right here in the same city we live in)... personally because I think it is a sham but again its MY opinion.

The BRIGHT SIDE is: I enjoy their method of what looks like teaching yourself and your body HOW to eat normally again and when I say normally... I mean PORTITON CONTROL. I have issues with portion control and will admittedly eat a POTFUL of food if ya let me and thats the truth.

Again, I decided to give this way of eating for a week. ONE week.
Am I scared? Terrified, yes.

But I am willing to try it.

why?

Because I studied the Atkins diet and did a lot of research on it and listened to documentaries on it and realized that Protein & fat but mainly protein helps the body to feel full longerrrrrrrr and satisfied for hoursssss and do NOT elevate one's blood sugars with portion control. emoticon holla!!!!!! so YES, low carb IS for me :-)

wish me luck and here I go....

btw....... HERE is the exact layout of the plan my friend and coworker did and lost 70 lbs in literally in 7 months with NO EXERCISE at all.... literally and as of 05/14/13 it is 77 lbs in 8 months. She is however starting exercise NOW to tighten up lose skin. I, on the other hand, WILL exercise WHILE I am doing this low carb way of eating.... to me it just makes sense.

WT LOSS HOW JAMIE LOSE 70 LBS IN 7 MONTHS with absolutely NO exercise at all and works in an office.
Jamie did a HIGH PROTEIN LOW CARB DIET AND IS NOW ON PHASE 3 on 05/10/13

You do the phases how you want to just as long as you do the basic guidelines.
Example: Jamie like to eat at night, so she used to eat during the daytime but now just saves the act of eating for dinner and drinks shakes for breakfast and lunch and may have ONE boiled egg.

btw.............. I do NOT do protein bars... giving me a protein bar is like giving me an almond joy or a snickers candy bar. When I tell you that I will literally eat the ENTIRE BOX in one sitting, I am telling you the truth.... it is like candy to me, so I do not do them.
Alternative: Pork skins emoticon .... again just MY opinion of what I am doing this wk.

okay lets get started:

Day 1 - Week One:

9:30 am Breakfast: 1 protein shake from walmart that I mix with 8 oz of water.

1:00pm Lunch: Lunch was eaten with a baby spoon, YES I said baby spoon and eaten out of a large cup.

Reason: If I used a regular tablesppon to eat, it would have been gone in a few gulps. This way I am FORCED to use portion control on this tiny bit of food (imho) and when I go for 2 spoonfull of food... it feelssssssssssssssss like a lot of food but in fact, I am only consumming a baby size spoonful.

soooo Lunch was at 1pm today:
Two 2/3 serving of FROOZEN mixed vegetqables
with 3 oz of lean 93/7 ground beef with onions and seasing.

will update later :)

I'm not sure about those protein shakes just because I like the whole chewing thing...I eat a TON of baby carrots though and I even found carrot chips in my local grocery store last week. Good luck and keep us posted on how it goes.
