So one of my goals right now is to be in size 16s by June. That might not be 100% realistic, but it's a goal, right? I honestly have no idea how much weight loss will equate to a jeans size--I'm pretty sure size 16 to size 14 was over 40 pounds on the way up. But I have these size 16s sitting around that I can check my progress with. So last night I was feeling inspired to try them on.
And... they came up, they buttoned up, they zipped up. I was IN the 16s!! They aren't a comfy fit and look terrible, so I'm not QUITE there, but just another inch here and there will be it!
Another accomplishment this week is we went back to the park with the trail to hike a mountain. This time, we took a different trail (ranked "moderate") that wrapped around the lake. 3.2 miles and it hurt! But we did it! Way more manageable than the mountain was. Much harder or much longer and it may have been too much--I ran out of water just as we got back to the car!
Anyway, this week I've felt pretty darn empowered. I've been kickin booty at the gym and feeling pretty motivated. My loss for the week isn't totally great (1.8 pounds) but that's close to 2 and last week was way better!
This next week, I really need to work on my fruits & veggies... as well as water.
