Blessings on Mother's Day

Sunday, May 12, 2013

My goal is to list at least three blessings every day.

Here are today's blessings:

1. I have amazing children. They are kind, compassionate, helpful and giving.

2. My mother is selfless, loving, and supportive.

3. My mother-in-law is a wonderful person. She is a second mom to me.

4. I feel loved and I know that I am blessed with more than I can count.

5. Family, friends, and faith.

Feel free to list your own blessings. Have a wonderful day!

I am grateful that I still have my Mom. My heart goes out to my dh whose mom is in a nursing home. This end of life stuff is hard.

I am grateful that my children were very generous to me for Mother's Day. My heart goes out to the mom in the next town over whose daughter was killed in a car accident Friday night and all moms who have lost their children before their time.

I am grateful for my dh who took my car in for the oil change. My heart goes out to my friend Gail who doesn't have a life partner and is struggling to do all things on her own.

Even though my life isn't perfect, I have so much to be grateful for. Thanks for sharing your blessings and helping us be mindful as well. Have a great day!
