Making myself a challenge for today & mini goal

Had a weekend full of eating out & Bday party. Did very well for me. Made some concious decisions instead of going with what the cravings are telling me. Yay for me! HOWEVER, had a bit of a carb attack last night. Gave into it, but pulled out before it was a full out binge.
Disappointed with my weigh in this morning. Was the same as last week. Know I could've been down another couple pounds. I did have a great week for me all in all. Made some great choices & did much better than I used to w/ eating out.Will use my friend MSHEL7 as an example. She had a bad eating day Fri. & completed a 5K yesterday! One step back, two steps forward.
Today have another obstacle to face. These are my first since I started making progress with my program.
Eating out for mothers day. Chinese BUFFET ! I love it . I am planning for the day mentally, though. We'll see if I can follow through , this is my challenge. I am eating Bfast , but making it half an apple with a TBL. PB. Smaller than usual, but I believe it will fill me. I want to get in a couple glasses of water before the outing & 1/2 of a banana if I'm feeling hungry, so I eat less at buffet.
Want to start with tea & then a bowl of Wonton soup . Then follow w/ good choices, portion control & one serving. The other goal DON'T eat yesterdays ice cream cake. No matter how much it calls my name. Think of the big picture & progress I've made.
to me for completing an interval workout that I was only able to do 85%
of a few days ago. Acknowledging my body growing stronger. My pants are looser. My lower belly hang (eewww!) is less & I'm making some great strides with my carb binges & emotional eating.
Okay, on to today to see how I do. Happy Mothers Day Sparkers!
