I planned a 10K today, but I decided to add some distance, because weather is ideal today for running : 14 oC / 57 oF, overcast and windy.
So on the way back, I added another 1.5 mile segment on the other side of the hill (steep and very narrow and bumpy trail).
I found the right comfortable pace, that allowed me to breath slowly and deeply all the way,
so I finished 7.5 miles at 11:23 min/mile.
I felt wonderful during the entire run, and the bonus: I saw a fox!
This is the first time in my life I saw a free fox alive!
It was coming up on the hillside, and probably couldn't smell and hear me because of the wind, and it was quite surprised when saw me.
Something must have been wrong with the scale in the past few weeks, because now it shows about 2-3 pounds less for everybody.
Now I "calibrated" the scale, measuring 8 kg of weights and it is correct now.
So, my high weight was not so high after all : )
I suspected this, because my weight was up about 5 pounds, and my waist-hip-thigh measurements hardly changed at all.
But the false alarm helped me develop good dinner eating habits so it was a good thing : )
PS: oh, I forgot to mention the change happened after replacing the batteries, so that's in line with what ARCHIMEDESII wrote!
