A friend is moving a few hours away and treated each of us to a pedicure, which I'd never had before. WOW, I'm so grateful to have baby soft smooth feet instead of those alligator pads I've been walking on.
Making up some new things for our Mother's Day picnic tomorrow. Both from vegan cookbooks by Isa Moskowitz, and both vegan and gluten free since my son and his wife are eating gluten free these days.
From Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World I made the Vanilla Gluten Freedom cupcakes with orange cream cheese frosting.
And from Vegan Brunch I made Samosa potato cakes. They are in the fridge; I'll fry them up tomorrow morning.
The house smells so yummy! Not the healthiest of recipes but am going to enjoy the feast day and festivities with family tomorrow.
