Food/Exercise journal~~at the beach!

I was at the beach with Garry, but still stayed on track. Lots of long walks on the boardwalk and the beach, walked for well over 3 hours today!

We had breakfast in our hotel, and we always stay at the same place--because it has a kitchen!
Coffee w/ Silk, 1/2 hemp bagel w/ vegan provolone, avocado and cucumber, some blood orange juice, a bowl of strawberries and mango, and a small homemade cinnamon roll that I'd brought from home.

Bought this vegan vanilla cupcake and Garry and I split it and had it with strawberries. Man, it was good!

Then we had a sandwich made with Ezekiel bread, peanut butter, soy cream cheese, spinach, carrots, sprouts. Sounds odd, but everyone who tries it loves it.

I've gotten into the habit of having a green drink every day, so we found a great juice bar and I had my daily green smoothie.

This juice bar also offered these unique soups. They simply put the ingredients, like grains, beans, whole grain pasta, along with lots of chopped raw ingredients, season it all, then pour boiling water over it, so it still tastes really fresh. I'm going to try this at home.
One was a Thai bowl with soba noodles and lots of vegetables, and the other is a Southwest one w/ brown rice, beans, vegetables, avocado and lime juice. Genius!

Keeping my eating sane and healthy even on vacation. So different from my old life, you should've seen me about 15 years ago. Let's just say I stayed in a sugar coma.

And hang onto something, something you may never see again. Me in a swimsuit, and with the woman-of-a-certain-age little skirt affair! HeeHee!
