One of Spark Coach assignments this week was to list 3 recent accomplishments. It has been very hard for me to think of three things I've done that were worthy of cheers. I finally decided to list these --

1. As of today, I have a streak of 17 days of 120 fitness minutes. It in no way comes near the 1,000 days I accumulated before the surgery on my foot but it is a real accomplishment after all the weeks of recovery and rehab.

2. I finally got the carpet in the family room shampooed. I have wanted to do that for a long time and the reason why I couldn't is something I want to forget.

3. We finally got started on plans to redo our shower/tub. I've wanted that for a long time but I think now my DH sees it is necessary. We are planning to do away with the tub and just have a shower. That isn't my first or second choice but I think it is probably the best way to go at this time.

    You have been an inspiration to me, and all though I haven't gotten the rainbow concept under completion yet-you got me started. You keep me and others going. You've found various ways to exercise while wheel chair bound. You've grappled with the special dietary needs of John. You've been amazing. You sell yourself short. You might want to record on paper for a while to see where and what you are doing that might be sabotaging your weight loss efforts. I know I've got to buckle down, but I've been careless about tracking and exercise lately.

    Janet you sell yourself short! You have accomplished so much and inspire me to keep trying and not give up! That right there is a wonderful accomplishment, the inspiration you give to all your spark friends!

I am cheering for the accomplishments you see and cheering for the ones that you don't notice as soon!

    Fine accomplishments....when I think of you my friend, I also think of many more accomplishments....

You have turned your daily eating into a rainbow streak for a long long time.

You have learned how to live within the confines of the gluten free dietary restrictions of your easy task finding out what you can make and where the hidden gluten is!

You maintained a fitness routine while being mostly confined to a wheelchair and ended your recuperation without too much to make up for.

Those things and more have made you a role model for many of your friends.
