Day #318 - Day #5 - Still focused

Saturday, May 11, 2013

It's Saturday and I've been in a slump today. It's cloudy, raining off and on and my sinuses are having a field day. I took Benadryl last night and I think I took too many pills (2). I typically get the liquid form to help me sleep at times like these. This time I brought the adult tablets and took two. I just couldn't get up this morning. I did get up around 9 but by 12 I was back in bed taking a nap. I finally got out the house around 4pm and went to the gym. Because of my lack of motivation I knew I wouldn't feel motivated at home. So I did 45 minutes on the treadmill at the gym. I've done 2 sets of the arm weight routine today and will probably do another round before bedtime. I've drank all of my water today!!! Go me!!!

I have also logged my food in for the day and I'm well within my calorie range. I think I mentioned it yesterday but just in case I didn't my goals are to log my food for the remainder of my Year challenge which has about 47 days left; workout everyday until then and stay focus on everything. Since we were asked to weigh in everyday this week for the church group I have been doing that. The scale has shown me favor but like I said the scale fluctuates so much who knows what my official Thursday weigh-in will bring. I have started to include weight training again so I know how that adds to the scale weight.

Okay I still got a little time left in my Saturday so I'm going to chill the rest of the day and try to stay focus. Have a Happy Mother's Day to the mothers and enjoy your weekend.
