Today marks Day 1 of the 5% Spring into Summer Challenge!
Our challenge for Week One is to drink at least Eight 8 oz. glasses of water each day. This may prove to be the easiest challenge for me.
I am a confirmed waterholic. I drink between 96 and 120 ozs. of water daily. I have a 32 oz. mug that I fill each morning and drink it during my work out. Then at work I also have a 32 oz. mug that I fill in the morning and try to drain it before 10:00 a.m., refill and drain before Noon, refill and drain before 3:00. It's somewhat like a self-inflicted "water contest" I have going each day to see how many mugs of water I get down. And I always have a 12 oz. of water with each meal.
I find that this mug really helps me drink more water. It's transparent so I can see my progress and drinking out of straw also speeds up the process as well.
For those of you who have a difficult time getting even a couple glasses of water down, try using a mug or some sort of "measured" bottle or container and drink it using a straw. It really does get more down faster. Hope this works for you.
Also, keep in mind, all the benefits water has in the internal processes of your body and general health. So grab that mug, bottle, or glass and drink UP!
