Learning How to Dress

Saturday, May 11, 2013

When do you stop thinking you have to wear loose clothes to cover your over sized body?
I still wear long shirts to cover my butt. A long sleeved shirt to cover my arms when I go out.
When I look in the mirror my pant legs are to wide and to long. My work uniforms are to big, but I'm afraid the next size will be to tight.
Does Spark People have any thing to help me change the way I am dressing? Or help me to see the changes that have been made? I still see my self as FAT and I need to keep my body covered.
I am learning how to eat right, but haven't found anything on accepting how your body changes and learning how to accept it. If I have missed something, Please show me where to find the information I am looking for.
Thank you

I have a best friend that I shop with that is the same size as me usually. Last summer when we shopped she said I need to get the tighter leg jeans. WHAT a difference it makes. I had been stuck in baggy cargo pants for way too long.
You will feel and look better. Look around at other's sparkpages and see how good people look in sensibly fitting clothes.

There are probably some articles out there in Sparkland on this. But I am reminded of something on What Not to Wear. They always recommend dressing for the body you currently have. I find it does make a difference and I feel more attractive when I wear clothes that fit, even though they are not the size I will eventually be. Good luck!
