Maybe I'm getting it?

It's been 7 weeks since I reached my goal of 130. Maintenance has been a dance of fine tuning the calories in vs. out and retraining my mind OUT of "weight loss mode."
I always want to have enough calories left for an evening snack. It has become quite a struggle not to have more calories left at the end of the day than my stomach can comfortably hold. It seems I was trying to maintain by eating in weight loss mode until dinner. That strategy DID NOT WORK for me! I kept losing down to 124.4 pounds.
So I have had to add food to lunch and snacks as well as dinner. (I've always kept my regular breakfast.) I'm up to 1,650-1,700 calories a day now (up from the 1,200-1,300 when I was losing and the 1,500 that caused a gain when I was a week or two into maintenance). It seems to be working. I've been 125.0 for the past 3 days. Yay!
I don't know if this level will continue or need to be tweaked again, but I'm feeling much more confident in finding the balance, wherever it needs to be.
Thanks so much to my friends who have shared their maintenance experiences with me and been such good examples! Thanks also to my friends who have been there for me (listening and encouraging) through the hard and easier parts of this journey. It wouldn't have been nearly as enjoyable without you!!!
