Today is the first day of the Spring into Summer 5% challenge so I wanted to do my part. I've also made it a goal to climb Mt. Everest during the 5% challenge...
So, today I walked to the middle school, climbed stairs there for 45 minutes and then walked back home for a total of 2 hours of exercise.
It took my 43 minutes to climb up (and down) 1665 stairs. I raced Walkatron the whole time, so not only did I climb the Eiffel Tower, but I also challenged Walkatron to climb Lady Liberty (154 stairs) 11 times. I am happy to report that I beat him every time. By the way, the Statue of Liberty is 345 stairs, so I climbed her 5 times, too.
Off to run some errands and then it's Mariner's Train Night at Safeco Field.
