Weigh-in Whoa!

As I mentioned in my last blog, I was hesitant to weigh-in, thinking I'd have a gain for sure after the 2 bad days of eating... nope!

Last Week: 352.8
This Week: 350.8
Weight Lost Since April 8th: 13.6 lb / 3.73%
Avg Loss Per Day Since Going Primal: 0.40lb
Total Weight Lost: 68.2 lb / 16.3%

Workouts:
Just a bunch of walking, and one ST. I meant to do more, but got a little off track.

I reached my weight goal for June 1st! Yay!!!

I can't believe I had a loss this week. Pleasantly surprised, though!!! I definitely was not in range of my carb goals those 2 high days, but I have been the past 2 days... although last night I ate a giant grass-fed steak (like the biggest steak I'd ever had in my life) and I figured it was going to show on the scale... nope. I wonder if juicing has been helping... I definitely feel more energy lately... maybe it's doing something to my metabolism. I guess perhaps I just needed a high day or two to "reset" my metabolism... I have no clue.

All I know for sure is that primal eating / low carbing at least 80% of the time seems to be working for me!!! Yay!





(Zucchini "pasta" is so delicious. High in potassium, fiber, and vitamins, extremely low in carb, but very high in flavor. I used canned Classico Tomato Basil sauce + a bit of grated parmesano reggiano and served it with our grilled steaks. It only takes about 5 minutes to make, too, and cleanup involves just rinsing my spiral cutter in water. I will definitely be making this and other veggie pasta quite often this summer!).

Today's juice was... 1/2 a beet, 1/2 a cucumber, 1 apple, 1/2 a kiwi, 1 lime, 1 small piece of ginger. yum yum yum.
