So I made the decision yesterday to adjust the timeline for my weight loss. I really want to do it right and make this a lasting change and I don't want it to be something that is that stressful for me. So I decided that I will aim to lose .5 per week. Then I broke my larger goal into 4 smaller goals and projected the "goal" dates for those. I think this was a really smart decision and it's much more realistic. While it might take longer, it will be worth it for me in the long run to do this in a really healthy way without too much added pressure.
Yesterday was the first day that our cast met (I am doing an opera in Austin, TX), and we went out for tex mex / drinks. I was happy that I ended up breaking even for the day. I have to think of that as a win in my book! I also started off the day really well -- had a healthy breakfast and got a great workout in. This morning is similar. I'm about to go get some good use of the the gym that is on my floor at the hotel that I'm staying at :)
