Home part 1

So far so good. I mean really good. I posted the last blog about how I went from 152 to 161 during finals week. After bloat came off it was 157. After the first few days of eating at home I was able to get down to 155.6 while still able to relax and enjoy my time home.

Last weekend I went with my mom to help move my little sister back from college so we were eating out the entire time. This morning I weighed in at 155 so I was still able to lose :) glad my mom is all into eating healthy so I really didn't feel awkward ordering the charbroiled cod sandwich from Hardees (not bad, and came with a wheat bun) on the way up and a chicken fajita salad from Qdoba on the way home (absolutely delicious. My mom got the Mango Salsa chicken salad there. I highly reccomend that)

And like I mentioned, last time I was trying to lose weight while home or with company I was stressing out a little bit because I couldn't do it perfectly like I do on my own. I was able to completely relax and still have fun. The evening, we went to a specialty pizza place that was really good. I tried ordering the thin crust (for less carbs and fat), but they messed up our order and we got hand tossed. I still got to enjoy 3 pieces of pizza and a really good beer, and not worry that I didn't get near enough protein but whatever. I wasn't tempted to overeat the pizza at all and we took like an entire small pizza home with us.

Hotel had the greatest breakfast area ever. I saw that, went to the lame workout center and lifted as much as I could with the couple dumbells they had, and came back and had 2 small omlettes, few breakfast potatoes, carton of milk, and even a fruit and vanilla yogurt parfait as dessert :)

Now I just need to keep eating a little less than I'm tempted to and feel good about myself before I leave for my summer engineering co-op next weekend. Monday, I'm going on a 4 day fishing/hunting trip with my Dad and Uncle which will be tons o fun. The food we're packing isn't too bad, and the only problem will be the beer around the campfire later which I plan on enjoying.

So, if I can keep my weight here, I'm perfectly OK with heading to my summer position a couple pounds over where I want to be. At least my old, fat jeans need to be belted to stay on again. Last week, I didn't need a belt and they fit. That was scary lol
