Friday was challenging. I cooked dinner using a new recipe I created in my head as I was cooking..., which cut into my working out time. Then guests showed up unexpectedly so I never did get my workout in. Also, the recipe I made up on the fly was filled with good for us healthy foods like lots of veggies and quinoa, but it still came out to be very high in calories, I think just too many ingredients. Also, I had 3 glasses of wine. So, I went over my calorie goal and had no exercise. However, I still feel I ate healthy and tried my best.
The next challenge: today I will be driving across the state to visit my inlaws. This means 5 hours of driving, followed by 2 days of hanging around their house to spend time with them. And they are far from vegan. Also, hubby's mom has mobility issues, so suggesting doing active things together is out of the question. Wish me luck!
