Last month I decided to start streaking. I set a streak goal of taking 10,000 steps a day for 30 days. Now I know to some of you that isn't anything. However, to me it takes alot of effort. The biggest obstacle is that I have a desk job.
While I have been trying to follow the recommendation that you get up and move 2 minutes every hour, you really cannot get too many steps in. I also take the long way to and from the bathroom while at work.
In order to get my exercise in, I need to get up early and get it done before the kids wake up and I have to get to work. Which means, I am usually up between 5:30 & 6 am. This week was a really stressful week for me. Especially Friday. I just could not get up yesterday my body was spent.
I hit 27 days of that streak!! I am pretty proud of that. Starting new today to try to hit it this time.
When life gets in the way, jump right in to a new day.
