What a Day !

Saturday, May 11, 2013

Today is a Grandma and Granddaughter day .. we are just gonna hang out and do things .. will be fun .. She is growing up and is 12 now .. I remember when she was a baby how time flys .. I just had my great grandson born .. I am now in moms shoes .. I like many have lost my mom but I can say she is in Heaven and I so am glad she was in such pain to have that new body .. not everyone knows where their family are .. Most of mine I know are saved that is such a Blessing and I am praying daily for those who are not .. I pray soon they will see the light before its to late .. I know soon and very soon the Christians will disappear and Then I would not want to be here .. but I wont dwell on that . While I am here I just pray I can take as many with me as I can .. I pray that they see Jesus in me ..I used to be concerned of what people would think now I could care less .. I am not here to please man but God and him alone .. I am here for a Soul purpose to tell of Jesus and his Kingdom .. and to pray for the sick and Captives .. I pray that they will see him .. but if you dont remember what we have said .. he loves you and its never to late until your last breath .. God loves you and so do I ..

Grandparents are so special. I was so lucky to be able to spend time with them as an adult as well. Even my great grandmother. They love you in a way that is just so special. And grandkids keep you young too!

What a wonderful day you will have It is wonderful too that you can say with great assurance that your Mom, and many of your Family will be part of that great resurrection moment when we all join together to meet the Lord in the air. I thankfully can say that I believe that about much of my own Family and Mom (and Dad) are already with our Lord. Thanks for the reminder. emoticon emoticon

Both of my parents are still here and I am praying for them, they live in PA and I can't talk to them because of who I married and that is sad because they never met our children and now that my husband has gone before me (in heaven, he accepted Christ about two years before he passed) they will never know what a good husband he was and a great father.

I am still lucky that boh of my parents are alive. My oldest granddaughter is now 18.(She is also my oldest grandchild out of 16).
She is coming to stay with me for a few weeks. She should be here this evening. I can't wait.

God loves us all unconditionally. We just need to reach out to Him.

Enjoy your day - I remember hanging out with my Grandma at that age - she taught me so many things and I wish I'd asked more questions then.

I hope you have a lovely day with your granddaughter! 12 is such a great age for younger-older female generational bonding. It was during that time that I first became really close to my own favorite grandmother, as our relationship as women began being formed at that time, instead of just being adult-child. Enjoy your day!

I was so sad when my grandparents died, but it made it so much easier to cope because I knew they were with Jesus. We lost a young girl in our church this week. She died in a car accident Monday afternoon. I can't even imagine how her parents are dealing with this, but one of the things they both said to me is that their daughter is at the feet of Jesus.
