Day 1

This is day one of my countdown to July 15th. I weighed in at 143.4 lbs, which is almost 10 lbs above my ticker weight! The first few pounds should come off fast cause I'm sure I'm retaining some water, but I'm soooooo ready to get back to where I felt most happy and most comfortable!

Game Plan:
I love how my BFF on Spark (BOOKWORM27S) eats just about the same thing every day. No surprises. Optimal nutrition. She knows what to expect and how she's going to feel. My goal is to get to that. My goal in the upcoming weeks is going to be to find foods that I can do without and that are unnecessary and/or causing harm.

Today I'm going grocery shopping!!! Yay!!!

    I like Bookworm27s' meal plans, too. I tend to eat the same types of food on a weekly basis and find that I have the best success at maintaining my weight loss! I know that you will get back where you want to be, you are a very determined individual!

    Hope you had a great shopping trip!

Simplicity is the key to my success. Food should be used as fuel for the body. When people get bored with food, it is because they are still using it as a form of entertainment or comfort. Our body only wants the nutrients from the food. It took me a long time to train myself to see food as fuel and not something to entertain or comfort myself with.

I can see the difference in you! I know you will meet your goal.

    She really gives us a great template to follow and I use it as well.
It also helps cut back HUGELY on shopping time and food prep time.
Let's face it, we're busy working moms and it's way too easy to put your nutrition and health on the back burner.
Added bonus: there's nothing to think about on those days when I'm dead tired and stressed out!
It really makes my life so much easier!

    Just remember to balance the calories and exercise. Sometimes I overdo the exercise, but neglect to add calories...and hurt myself in the long run. emoticon

And remember, one day at a time! Do your best and the weight will come off!!!

    Sorry I haven't been as active on this site lately with what all is going on in my life also, but I am always thinking and praying for you and my spark friends to continue to do well and keep their lives healthy and in order. YOU ARE A SUCCESS STORY, never forget that.     I have observed this pattern aswell and know from past personal experiences that I when I stick to a set plan I am at my lowest weight with lots and lots of energy!! Best of luck :)
