Thank you every for all your support that you have given me. It has been wonderful and what I needed.

Trying to look after me as this morning I started taking vitamin tablets again for a few days. I cannot take them any longer than that because it will upset my next lot of blood tests. I am spending a lot of time with the grandchildren as they take my mind of off me.

It has cooled down finally and we had a few showers of rain, more tomorrow and more rain.

Busy day planned tomorrow as we celebrant Mother's Day in Australia, so going over my parent's for a B-B-Q lunch most of our family will be there, then my youngest son and his girlfriend is coming for dinner. So a good day planned but I do need a rest day sometime.

I did a bit of research last night on the Net and found out that you can do home dialysis when you are living by yourself and that more and more people are doing it this way. That is another load from my mind if I have to go on this. The dialysis centre is so depressing at this hospital. But also by doing this at home your live so much longer. Which is good news. I really do not want to go in the hospital setting if I can help it.

To all the Australian Mothers, have a wonderful Mother's Day for tomorrow and all other mother's have a wonderful day also.

I hope you had your best Mother's Day yet Wendy.

That news re at-home dialysis is great news - all that driving time saved, plus being in the comfort of your own home, rather than having to spend time in such an unfamiliar, clinical atmosphere.

Don't forget to take that rest time - you need to make getting some rest each day a priority. I love it when I (very rarely) decide to take myself back to bed for some extra rest in the mornings. Such an indulgent feeling, but definitely one which pays off bigtime!

    U. S. mother's day is also tomorrow. Happy Mother's day to you also. For some reason I haven't gotten your blogs lately and for that I am sorry. I will get caught up to see what happened. Sounds like you have a good plan being put in action. My husband's Uncle did home dialysis and he felt more comfortable. emoticon

My husband did home dialysis (peritoneal) for a while and right before the transplant was considering the home hemo. You are right Wendy - more freedom, you feel better, and you are the one in control. It will be okay, Wendy.

Have a wonderful Mother's Day!
